Strong Workers Build Strong Communities
Iowa works because the people do. From teachers and healthcare workers to construction trades, manufacturing, service workers, and public employees, our communities run on the skill, dedication, and labor of Iowans.
But too many workers are falling behind while productivity rises and profits grow. Wages haven’t kept pace with the cost of living, job security has eroded, and the balance of power has shifted away from the people doing the work.
I believe a strong middle class depends on strong worker protections and the freedom to organize.
What I'll Fight For
In the Iowa House, I will work to:

Protect the right of workers to organize and bargain collectively without political interference

Support fair wages and benefits that reflect the true cost of living

Strengthen workplace safety standards and enforcement

Invest in infrastructure needs of our community and the workforce training to power them, especially in union industries

Ensure economic development incentives create good jobs, with accountability and worker protections, not just a tax cut for corporations

Stand with public and private sector workers who keep Iowa running
Unions help raise wages, improve safety, and create stability not just for their members, but for entire industries. Supporting workers is about building an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.
